John B. Register, General Manager of Café Intermezzo, appreciated great southern cuisine from a very young age, where he grew up on a cattle farm in north Florida. His passion for the farm-to-table dining experience developed throughout the years where he focused on perfecting the ultimate customer service experience in fine dining. These early years solidified his appreciation for the extraordinary, where he worked side-by-side with famous chefs in some of Atlanta, Georgia, and Charleston, South Carolina’s top-rated dining establishments.
Register’s career advanced throughout the years as he progressed through the various work roles in a restaurant from line cook, sous chef, and front of house manager, ultimately serving as a general manager in multiple concepts. This extensive knowledge base allowed him to shape the business and delivery of service that he expects today. At the core of his efforts, exceptional customer service and a great dining experience is the ultimate driver and motivation. Nineteen years later, Register finds himself with a new exciting challenge managing Café Intermezzo, an established highly-popular restaurant gem in the heart of Midtown, Atlanta, Georgia where patrons and visitors can enjoy the best of a European coffee house.
